Pulled this one out last night - hadn't played it in a few years. I must say this is one of the best examples of "rock" SACD's I have come across. I also have the ES65850 and find similar distortion of her voice. However, her recent live RBCD "Welcome to my living room" has very similar problems with her voice. Perhaps it is the mic's or recording engineer - or maybe a tired voice. In any case the SACD I have is well worth a trip down memory ... more

Not much to add to the glowing reviews to date. This is a superb SACD. If you are like me and struggle finding some Jazz you can listen to for a while - buy this disc! While known as a classic pop album when released, it is actually a fine piece of Jazz that is soothing and beautiful to listen to ... more

I can see how many would feel the sonics on this SACD rate at the high end - there is no doubt this is a well recorded and fine sounding SACD. It is a great disc to show off your system. But..........unless you are a musician and can appreciate the technical prowess of the band, this music gets real ... more
