This is new-age-like music, very laid back but never boring. I was very surprised to see that the almost synthesizer-like harmonics are all generated by acoustic instruments. The resolution and sonics are very good on this stereo-only disc. Highly recommended for a relaxing autumn afternoon :)

I’ve just listened to the three different SACD versions with my headphones and the result is somewhat surprising to me. There's a DVD-A version of this recording that was mastered at 24bits / 44khz. I assume that the same master was used for this SACD - probably not worth the extra premium.

The stereo mix has a very low dynamic rating of 8 (so let's not talk about that anymore), while the mc mix improves on the MFSL with 11 vs. 10 dynamic rating.
