I got this one today. I wish they had included a 5.1 mix, but the 2-ch stereo 24/96 sounds great.

Playing it through DPLII now, sounds fabulous!

2.0 LPCM Stereo 24/96
2.0 DTS HD MA 24/96
2.0 Dolby TrueHD 24/96

This also comes with a voucher to download this album.

No video content. Just the setup screen.

Does it just contain the original album tracks, or does it include bonus tracks (like the 2-CD deluxe version) ?

Unfortunately, it doesn't have all those rarities on the 2-disc or 5-disc sets. It just contains the 9 tracks from the original album.

A FUN disc but unfortunately, NO extras.

Received the Colin Davis Anthology set today, BRAND SPANKIN' NEW (8 SACDs, 4 RBCDs, 1 DVD documentary) for the ridiculously low price of $35, delivered, from the UK to the US (beautifully packaged/annotated). Was thinking to myself that the ENTIRE contents could've been contained on ONE BD~A (w/the documentary in 1080p).

When, OH when, are the studios going to take advantage of the immense real estate on a single BD~A?

And to think that UHD 4K discs will allow 'Infinitely' MORE storage!

Considering this sad state of affairs, it's amazing that they went ahead and put all of Solti's Ring cycle on one Bluray.

Let's hope they wake up and smell the coffee. I'm really getting into these Blurays. Their sound is so much better than the DD 5.1 offered on most DVDs.

Anyway, I am very happy that they released this Underworld album on Bluray. It was an excellent choice.

But did you take MY advice, Brett, and buy the Silverline MLP 5.1 of Rambient's So Many Worlds.........?

The discrete surround is to DIE FOR!

BTW, do you have this one yet.........Various: Women's Stories Mine's en route in addition to this one.......Various: Greatest Rock Ballads: From the SONY, NO Baloney, people.

Unfortunately, both STEREO, only, but there's always Dolby Prologic II!

BTW, again: Absolutely EXQUISITE......A MUST purchase Debussy: Preludes Book II etc - Lewin...from the CAVIAR people, Sono Luminus!

I got that Rambient DVDA a couples of weeks ago. Yes, excellent discrete surround. Thanks for the nudge on that one.

I should clarify my post above. I meant to say that I prefer Blurays to DVDVs. DVDAs are awesome. But if we're gonna have video content, I'd prefer a Bluray.

3 more!? I just bought 20 discs last weekend. And I am stuck on Underworld and Missing Persons. But... I think I'm hearing the EXQUISITE crack of that whip again. :-D LOL!

Well you'll just have to add Baloney and Caviar to your Sonic diet.......cause, bro, what's a few more discs among friends?

And then there's the upcoming UHD 4K Curved TV with the HIGHEST capacity UHD BD~V players....on the imminent horizon.

When you run out of space in Tokyo......you can always move back to the wide open spaces of Indiana and let your inner "freak" run WILD!

BTW, I received 18 discs in the mail TODAY.......with many more on the way." See Ya in Indiana....but be forewarned: I'm HIGH maintenance......Bubbles, Bangles and Arabian Steeds!

"I'm an ole cow hand.......from the Rio Grande"........NOT ;-D!

Flash: The Taal Tantra Experience: "Sixth Sense" featuring Debashish Bhattacharya. With a name like that, you KNOW the whip's coming down if you don't BUY!

Highly Recommended!

It's funny you mention Indian music. I was recently playing an old CD of mine of traditional Indian sitar music. I played it in DPLII and was amazed at how good it was. So, I went out and bought some music from India, Afghanistan, the Middle East, etc... It all sounds fabulously evocative and atmospheric in DPLII.
Highly recommended!

Yikes! I'll get tush in high gear on Taal Tantra. But does it come with a 5.1 mix?

My inner Freak is going off the rails here enough in Tokyo. Oh baby! LOL!

Listen to the samples @ Amazon US regarding the Taal Tantra recording. Beautifully recorded but sadly, no 5.1. I actually received it FREE with a recent purchase from Allegro Records direct.

Angel Records did record some QUAD Indian music back in the 70's with Yehudi Mehuhin (violinist)/Ravi Shankar/Jean Pierre Rampal: "West Meets East" but other than that, I don't know of any 5.1 Indian music (BTW, I typed in Indiana by mistake.....RAVI RADSECK)? http://cdn.c.photoshelter.com/img-get/I00000BALsnEY1f0/s/750/750/hindu-priest-little-india-singapore.jpg

BTW, FUNNY Rick James Video (Super Freak).......Glitter, a BAD wig.......an "innie" (navel).....all Rick's missing is the GOLD tooth....and the French Tips. LOL!
