It's complicated. Both consumer and recording production gear. Analogue and digital. I enjoyed receivers with digital signal processing for a number of years, until I had some kind retrograde brain spasm and find myself now in the mid 70s early 80s again. A few years on eBay and many thousands of dollars later, I now do a lot of my music listening in the analogue domain as I did back then. LPs, CD-4, open reel tape, and analogue outs from my Oppo 105 and 105D. (Also own the 83 and 9 3which can still play my SACD-R discs.) |

A new response from Eric Guillemaud of Alia Vox today: "the noises that we can hear is not of electric nature. This is the noise made by the chorus members when they rises from their noisy seats (this was a live recording at the Royal Chapel in Versailles). Many other noises have been deleted, but these ones were simply too loud." So, problem ... more |
